looking up…and down

I think having a camera makes you see things you never would have without one...

I've learnt to look up to the very tips of the trees and into the sky…to look between the leaves and amongst the leaves.  I've also learnt to stop and look down…often there is the smallest and prettiest of details underfoot.  I've learnt to tread carefully in every respect.

These are moments captured whilst wandering in Lamington National Park with relatives visiting from France.  They were enchanted and intrigued and captivated.  They relished being up high amongst the canopy, listening to the bird calls and catching a glimpse of foraging marsupials.

A camera and overseas visitors does wonders for making you not only look but see.
