have been filled with magic and wonder...

little beginnings...

 are starting to blossom.

There have been new beginnings all round these last few months.  Least of all, this little glimpse into something so wonderful, so perfectly right that I'm just bursting to share.  I'm secretly hoping you'll be smitten it too!

There has been travels and exploring; learning new things and finding my creative rhythm.  It's been quite the journey of discovery with moments of pure happiness.  Treasured moments...a clarity I've not felt in such a long time.

I have so very much to share...

farm air

Isn't this the loveliest of views?  Most of my time away, all those days ago, were spent here...clean, fresh, farm air.  There is nothing better for the soul...and I'm craving it once more.

I'll share some more of this wonderful place soon...its history and quirkiness...its charm.

I spent almost two whole weeks in the English countryside...oh how I love it so.

I like that it's 1.2.12 today...

I like that today is the beginning (dare I say, 'launch') of something super special to me and a very long time in the creating.

My little 'paperie' is being built behind the scenes...I'm dressing and decorating the virtual walls and hope that by the end of the month there will be a few treats on the shelves to purchase!  Slowly, slowly mind as the perfectionist in me embraces the loveliness that imperfection can be!

Oh my...how wonderfully exciting and somewhat daunting all at once!

Oh how I adore ribbons...especially on presents...and cards too! This rather stylish and contemporary ribbon will adorn my latest creation...I'll share soon, I promise!

stripes

A work in progress...borne from frustrations at another creation in the works! There is always a silver lining! I drew up the candy cane stripes and am hoping to incorporate the twine which I absolutely adore. A sweet little something to add to presents...or just 'because'...when it's completed.

Love in any language is bliss.

This sweet declaration of love will feature in my upcoming collection which I hope to launch in Spring.

I found a tiny bit of autumn at Tamborine Mountain yesterday (although nothing to compare to the autumn leaves in Christchurch!). I love where I live very much but I do miss the changing seasons...and so my idea broadens...

Cupcakes with high tea...what a delightful way to celebrate ones birthday! This little card, like all my work, is lovingly drawn and written by hand making each card individual and with its own little idiosyncrasies.
