the prettiest of pinks

My little camellia shrub, 'star above', is quite the little favourite of mine.  It was the first plant that went into my garden and was in memory of my darling mother.  It is soft and delicate and the prettiest of pretty...much like my mother, my star above.

It is awash with these beautiful flowers right now...so welcome in these winter months.  This tiny little critter obviously thought it was the perfect place to catch some sun too...
