covers and lists
One should never judge a book by it's cover...but how could you not fall in love with this charming cover? It was while I was lunching at the lovely Riverbend Bookstore and Cafe, with dear friends Audra and Karen, that the colour and detail caught my eye. Perhaps because it was getting it's very own display in the window we were sitting next to, perhaps also when we commented on the sweet styling the lady gave such a wonderful review... perhaps it's simply because I love books and reading (in case you hadn't guessed)! I've yet to lose myself in the story... maybe I might indulge in an hour of quiet time this afternoon - the rain is still falling on my tin roof, it's cosy inside...it's perfect reading weather afterall!

Oooh, I can't wait to hear your review. Its funny, ever since our lunch I see this book pop up everywhere. It seems to be reviewed in every magazine I flick through!
ReplyDeleteWe must lunch again sometime soon :-) ......
I'm also often guilty of judging a book by its cover. Must be our visual natures! This does look great. Please let us know what you think once you get the chance for some quiet time.
ReplyDeleteRain, hail or shine - I'm with you Ingrid - I love reading too!
ReplyDeleteBut it's even better if it's cold, windy and it's raining outside ...
Oh I have this book on my 'to read' list. I can't wait to start it....
