harvest

The sweetest of tasks for New Year's day - picking these deliciously juicy grapes from my vine! Finally they are ready and my weren't they worth waiting for! Do you suppose because I grew them, nurtured them and lovingly tendered them, they are just that little bit more special?

I hope to nurture my dreams this coming year, but mostly I want to believe...I want to believe in my dreams, believe in myself and believe that I can make those changes that I desperately desire. Yes, I believe it's all possible in 2010.

  1. I like that approach. About wanting to believe. Reminds me of the tattoo I'm getting this year, that will inscribe 'In faith we trust' on my inner arm. Happy New Year!

  2. Ingrid, thanks so much for the gift of the grapes! So incredibly delicious. Especially nice as they were tended with so much love.
I'm sure they helped Mr Dragonfly recover from his hospital stint!
    Cheers :-)

PS You're my Christmas card hero - my mum too would send out 100's, and I'm ashamed to say that I failed miserably on that front this year. And yet, it is so special to receive real mail!

  4. Yahoo! Nothing tastes better than home grown grapes - you'll never buy from a shop again because they have sooooo much flavour!

    Congratulations Ingrid.

P.S - Oh, and I'm sure your dreams will come true this year!
