Central Park New York - on my last visit
I simply adore Paris. The architecture, the history, the people, the stylish ambiance, the sense of romance...knowing it's all part of my heritage makes it close to my heart. Now I can 'travel' Paris once more throughout the year with these beautiful photos taken by Nichole and Evan. What a perfect way to remember one's travels and share with others the joy of exploring unknown cities or places that draw you back time and time again. Of not only capturing the memorable and iconic but also the detail in the 'everyday'.

The sweetest of tasks for New Year's day - picking these deliciously juicy grapes from my vine! Finally they are ready and my weren't they worth waiting for! Do you suppose because I grew them, nurtured them and lovingly tendered them, they are just that little bit more special?
