a penny for them...

one little question put to me whilst I was day dreaming...

A request had been made for a card, that if possible, could include a cycling theme.  And with that passing question came my answer...a penny farthing!

lavender and lemon

I have a nasty flu bug so there's been lots of enforced quiet time - really rather nice to snuggle in and be cosy in winter (if only I wasn't sneezing!).  Molly has loved the company too.

There's been plenty of hot lemon and honey drinks (and a dash of brandy at night...for medicinal purposes of course!).  So nice to use lemons picked fresh, straight from the tree.

And the fragrance of lavender, such a comfort for me.  This gorgeous posy, a little gift from a someone dear.

I didn't mean to be away from this little place for so long...
I've missed it.

The air is cold (even during the day sometimes),

mostly, the sky has been blue

and the autumn leaves are such rich hues
