a twinkle...

the extra special kind!  The kind that sparkles especially bright, that holds great anticipation, that is bursting with love...a little something to treasure, to remember the excitement this Christmas holds.  Soon, that gorgeous twinkle will be a precious bundle to hold...a cherub to cherish.

There will be cuddles and snuggles, laughter and smiles, joy and tears...there will be a sweet button nose to kiss, toes to tickle and tiny hands to hold...

A gift for my 'baby' brother, his beautiful wife and the most treasured of 'bumps'...tiny booties, sweet little books, a star to remember that Christmas twinkle and an adorable bag holding these...

I can hardly wait...

whimsy and pretty

I like to have a diary...to keep track of the days and note down special occasions, to remember birthdays and celebrate anniversaries.  So when the year ends I can see, just quickly, what each month brought my way...the achievements made and what dreams unfolded.

This gorgeous diary (by Frankie) captured my heart this year...sweet whimsy drawings, pretty pages of inspiration and yet so practical.  What dreams lie ahead I wonder...

midnight delight

Sometimes life doesn't play fair.

Sometimes, little things arrive just when they're needed...a little bit of loveliness to make me smile.  Some (post) midnight impulsiveness... how could I honestly resist this little guy?  Beautifully designed and made by Angela at Cotton Bird Designs.

The week started with so much promise...I felt sure my hopes for the week were going to come to fruition, but for the moment it's not to be...for the moment.

finding treasures

Today has been the most loveliest of days!  A visit to the Finders Keepers markets in Brisbane has made me giddy with excitement and inspired so I'm almost bursting.  Such lovely, lovely treasures to behold...and whilst I'd like to keep them all (and show you too), some are gifts so I must keep them surprises!  There were new stalls to admire and favourites to return to...happy smiles, sweet little chats and a feast for the eyes more than I can describe!

My brown paper bags included little somethings from paper boat press, Bespoke Press, Loose Leaf Paper, Udessi and Little Jane St but truly, it could have included so many more.

And then there were chats and coffee with two dear friends...

May your weekend have been just as lovely!

Sweet, juicy, delicious mangoes...a sure sign summer is almost here!
