yesterday

...I was painting and drawing, cutting and creating whilst the rain came down outside. And it was bliss!

under the magnolia

Molly, Molly, Molly...you really are mischief up in the big planter box! Perfectly pretty under the magnolia tree...but sweet girl, the little plants you're lying on aren't so comfortable!

home sweet home

I'm a 'home body'...for me, there is nothing better than pottering around home. Tomorrow I must return to work after three whole weeks of being at home...bliss! This time has allowed me to make some significant steps forward in my quest to be home more...slowly, slowly! So you could say I've been 'working' from home and it's an arrangement I'd like to make more permanent. I will continue to follow my dream...

kookaburra sings

It's said when the kookaburras laugh, rain is on the way. Please little kookaburra giggle to your hearts content...I've heard you in the trees today!

message in a bottle

I love writing letters...the old fashioned way. I simply adore receiving letters in the mail even more - pretty envelopes filled with love and news, stories and quotes, of happenings and ramblings. This gorgeous little bottle is just another way to share some fun, giggles and encouragement...to be added to a gift for my dearest friend Melissa. In memory of the millions of letters between us that have travelled the oceans of the world and always included a hug and dreams, comfort and friendship, laughs and sunshine.

secret gardens

Yesterday was bliss - exploring gorgeous gardens up on the mountain...some so cute, others rather grand, each with their own little secrets and all bursting with spring loveliness.
And then there was the most wonderful afternoon tea...freshly baked scones with all the trimmings served with the perfect cup of tea. To our delightful hosts for sharing their sweet home with us...thank you!
Oh my, bliss indeed!
